“Keep Moving”

By Martha Ann Morris

Martha Ann Morris was born on May 11, 1925 as Martha Ann Willman. She married John Henry Morris in June 1948. She was my mother, and the mother to my three sisters and one brother.

Mom died on April 5, 2024, just weeks before I left on my Alaska adventure. She had just finished writing her autobiography, a copy of which you requested.

This blog is about my Alaska adventure. You may be wondering why I have posted about Marty’s book “Keep Moving” here on this blog. First, it seemed like the simplest way to get this information out to lots of people. It also seemed fitting to close out the blog with a tribute to mom. She inspired me to “Keep Moving” and was with me every one of the 11,836 miles we traveled to Alaska and back.

In her book she writes about her trip to Haiti. It was a very moving experience for her and one that deepened her faith. We are not asking for any payment for her book, however, if you would like to contribute to a Haiti charity, I am sure it would be greatly appreciated.

Enjoy the book and donate if you can to one of the following:
